The Broads and rivers have a number of villages along their banks with shopping, eating and drinking well catered for.
Most of the villages are at crossing points over the rivers. Some of the original bridges are still there, notably Potter Heigham and Wroxham, but many of the old ferries are long since gone.
Many of the villages depend almost exclusively on the tourist industry and you will find you will be well catered far as a visitor.
The pages in this section will give you some background and useful information about each village.
We are adding information and photographs on a regular basis, so do call back to find out what's new.
